Denisse Moreno

Denisse Moreno is a multimedia journalist based in Queens, New York. She is currently a tech writer for the International Business Times. She was previously a reporter for The Epoch Times and a freelance writer for NY1 News. She has contributed to the Futuro Media Group, in which she did research for projects involving NPR’s Latino USA and PBS’ Frontline and America By The Numbers. She also interned for PBS’ MetroFocus and NBC Owned Television Stations. Projects she worked on with The New York City News Service#NYC2013: New York’s New Era and Tell Us What #Povertyis, were finalists at the Best Use of Multimedia category in the Society of Professional Journalists awards in the Mark of Excellence competition. She holds a bachelor’s in political science from the City College of New York and a master’s in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
